Duncan Robert Edwards is an internationally renowned sound designer with nearly 40 years of experience in venues of all shapes and sizes—from theater to television to special event projects and more. Some favorite projects include:

  • LOVEMUSIK, directed by Harold Prince;
  • BOUNCE, written by Stephen Sondheim and directed by Harold Prince;
  • THE LAST FIVE YEARS, written by Jason Robert Brown;
  • Disney’s national tour of HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL;
  • NBC’s Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, and Late Night with Seth Meyers
  • US and South American stadium tour for ANDREA BOCELLI;
  • Numerous International concerts and presentations of THE CAVE, THREE TALES and HINDENBURG with Steve Reich and his ENSEMBLE;
  • OPENING AND CLOSING CEREMONIES of the 2008 Beijing Olympics

Duncan Edwards is also the CEO and founder of Audio Design International, which has grown in scale and capability, becoming an international entity with experts on two continents—Duncan in the greater New York City area and partner Jeroen ten Brinke situated in The Hague, Netherlands. Together and separately, they have designed a significant amount of theater, touring, special events, and audio system installation in venues of all shapes and sizes—on land or sea—everywhere in the world.

Duncan lives on a farm in Connecticut with his wife, Patricia Norcia. He enjoys hiking, biking, and sailing when not on the road for various projects.
